This is our 1965 John Deere 110. It was given to me by a friend who no longer wanted to deal with it...so it was a gift. We have done minimal maintainance to date. Changed oil, fix a flat, new transmition fluid, etc. Just the basics.
But now we want to do a full restoration. My 10 year old son wants to get is ready for the Rhode Island Lawn Tractor Pulling Assoc. So the rebiuld begins. We will just rebuild the stock Kohler engine for now. But we are thinking of upgrading from 8 hp to a 14 hp. This seems to be the minimum needed to compete in the tractor pulls.
